Ethan and McKenzie left corporate jobs to start The Living Land Ranch, a small farmstand in Meridian raising pasture-raised chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cattle alongside non-certified organic produce. The stand also carries goods from other local producers. Through Idaho Skills Collective, the couple teaches classes in herbal first aid, foraging, and seasonal cooking, and McKenzie founded the Idaho Homestead Conference.

Reginald States stocks Idaho apples, cherries, peaches, corn, watermelon, and tomatoes as they come into season, alongside raw milk, local honey, and home-baked pies. Huckleberries and morel mushrooms show up when the wild harvest allows. Open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., closed Sunday.

Willows Edge Farm outside Kuna raises a mix you don't see paired often — Norwegian Fjord horses alongside Irish Dexter cattle, Jacob sheep, chickens, and pigs.
