The Virginia Wine & Garlic Festival is Rebec Vineyards' signature event, held each fall at the winery on North Amherst Highway north of Amherst. Rebec makes Old World, European-style wines, including the Riesling-and-Pinot-Noir Autumn Glow, the herb-infused Sweet Sofia and an Alsatian-style Gewurztraminer. The tasting room pours daily 11 to 5, and the vineyard also runs a Labor Day wine and music festival, weddings and a wine club.
