AlAnn Ranch raises roughly 80 alpacas — both Suri and Huacaya — across 90 acres of high desert outside Ash Fork. The family operation shears about 350 pounds of alpaca fiber each April plus mohair twice a year, then sells the results as rugs, blankets, hats, and scarves through its farm store.
