Each fall the Dallas Arboretum builds its Pumpkin Village, a set of displays made from tens of thousands of pumpkins, gourds, and squash along the shore of White Rock Lake at 8525 Garland Road. The event runs from late September through the end of October, layered over the garden's autumn plantings. It ranks among the most photographed fall attractions in North Texas.
