This is a town festival, not a farm: the Barnesville Pumpkin Festival has run since 1964 and draws around 100,000 people to this Belmont County town over four days, always the last full weekend of September. Highlights include a giant-pumpkin weigh-in, a parade, contests, craft and quilt shows, live music and a 5K. The Ohio state-record pumpkin, 2,150 pounds, was grown locally in 2017.
