The California Farmers Market sets up every Saturday in the BAE Systems parking lot on Three Notch Road — one of only two producer-only markets in St. Mary's County, meaning everything sold was grown, raised, or made by the vendor at the table, no resellers. Season runs spring through late fall, roughly 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with local vegetables, fruit, and crafts from Southern Maryland growers.
