Cedar Creek Gardens farms 14 irrigated acres and 14 season-extension tunnels near Midland, out by the historic 1880 Town on the central South Dakota prairie. Bud Manke and Peggy Martin grow vegetables and melons for market boxes, farm stands, and wholesale, and put up pickles, jam, salsa, and pickled beets and asparagus from the harvest. Weekly deliveries reach Rapid City and the Black Hills every week of the year.
