The growing window runs short — about 85 frost-free days — but sandy loam soil and mountain snowmelt let the farm bring in roughly 40 crop varieties. It skips pesticides, herbicides, and GMOs, feeding beds with alfalfa compost and cover crops. Most produce moves through the CSA and the Taos and Questa markets.
