About This Farm
The Myers family first came to North Carolina in the early 1700's from York, Pennsylvania, and settled in the Holly Grove area. One son, David ventured West and purchased several hundred acres in the late 1700's from a soldier, John Booth, who received the property as a land grant for 12.5 cents per acre ( Issued October 10th, 1783).
