Froberg's Farm has grown produce near Alvin since 1936, on Highway 6 in Brazoria County south of Houston. The fields yield strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, okra, cucumbers, and greens by season, and an on-site bakery turns out pies, jellies, preserves, pralines, and pecan brittle. Fall brings a corn maze, pumpkin patch, and pick-your-own; a Christmas tree lot follows. Open daily, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
