Galloping Grace is a nonprofit working ranch in Rio Rancho where kids raise animals, grow crops, and help run the place, founded by Max and Michelle Wade. Each fall it opens a pumpkin patch from September into November with pig races, a petting zoo, and field trips for school groups. The rest of the year it runs youth programs rather than public farm hours, so check ahead before visiting.
