The Guilford College Farm works three cultivated acres plus a 5,000-square-foot high tunnel on the Quaker college's Greensboro campus, growing more than 10,000 pounds of food a year. Students start nearly everything from seed and run their own on-campus farmers market. Harvests also feed the dining hall and reach a CSA, local grocers, and area restaurants. Soil amendments and pest controls meet OMRI organic standards. Farm manager: Nick Mangili.
