Hill Top Berry Farm and Winery makes 32 fruit wines and honey meads, all fermented and bottled on-site in Nellysford. The operation started in 1993 as a pick-your-own berry farm and added the winery in 1998, drawing on blueberries, blackberries, plums, peaches, apples and elderberries. Tasting flights and charcuterie boards are served on the patio, open daily 11 to 5. Military, veterans and law enforcement get 10 percent off.
