A family CSA farm that started with one greenhouse and five acres in 1988. Hilltop sells bedding plants, vegetable starts, perennials and hanging baskets in spring, then moves to its own produce: asparagus, cole crops, sweet and hot peppers, melons, strawberries, sweet corn and squash. Planting-party classes teach the basics of getting a garden going. The farm sits on 300th Street a couple of miles north of Hollandale, serving the Owatonna and Albert Lea area.
