Markegard Family Grass-Fed raises certified grass-fed, grass-finished beef and lamb plus pasture-raised chicken and pork across ranchland in San Mateo, Sonoma, and Marin Counties, based in Half Moon Bay. Using holistic planned grazing that mimics the elk herds that once roamed California's grasslands, the pesticide-free ranch was the first in California to earn Audubon's Bird Friendly land certification, and delivers regenerative meats around the Bay Area and at farmers markets.
