About This Farm
Mohala Farms has worked six acres in Waialua on Oahu's North Shore since 2005, rebuilding the soil as a nonprofit organic farm. Fields produce lettuce, collards, kale, swiss chard, and traditional Hawaiian foods like kalo, ulu, and uala, sold through a CSA and at markets in Honolulu and Waialua. Since 2009 the farm has also run a live-in work exchange, training young adults in organic growing while doubling as a hub for community education and the arts.
