Moorhead's Blueberry Farm calls itself the oldest pick-your-own blueberry farm in Texas, growing since 1977. More than twenty blueberry varieties cover twenty acres between Kingwood and The Woodlands, tended with organic practices and no pesticides or herbicides. Pickers pay $3.75 a pound, cash or check, during the summer season. The farm sits on Moorhead Road in the Conroe area north of Houston.
