About This Farm
Ness Farms has grown pinto beans in the Estancia Valley east of Albuquerque for more than 35 years, farming near Estancia in Torrance County. The family plants in mid-May, runs center-pivot irrigation across the dry high plains, and triple-cleans the harvest before packing beans from the current crop. They sell retail bags and wholesale lots, and the beans turn up under New Mexico labels at regional markets and shops.
