Purple Adobe Lavender Farm grows lavender in the Chama River Valley of Abiquiu, the high desert country Georgia O'Keeffe painted. Started in 2004, the farm sells lavender plants, runs a small tea house, and stocks a gift shop with lavender bath and body products. Visiting is free from April 15 through October 31, Tuesday to Saturday; during bloom, roughly June through August, guests can cut their own bouquet for $15.
