Rainbow Pack Outfitters has run mule and horseback pack trips out of Bishop Creek Canyon since 1924, making it one of the oldest pack stations in the Eastern Sierra. The Allen family operates under permit with the Forest Service and Park Service, guiding backcountry camping and fishing trips and resupplying long-distance hikers along the trail.
