About This Farm
The Hens Roost is Bakersfield's local food hub, based at 1916 G Street. It runs two weekly farmers markets — Riverlakes on Saturdays and Haggin Oaks on Sundays — plus PB Jack's, its own line of all-natural nut butters. Through the AppleCore Project, its nonprofit arm, the organization also runs a food pantry to fight hunger in the community.
