About Us Our farm, "Tosche Homestead," is the product of a lifelong dream and a lot of hard work. (That's pronounced TOSH-ee. It's a Star Wars reference. We're nerds.) For years, we were a pair of homestead dreamers, living in a small apartment in West Des Moines. In late 2020, that dream became reality when we found our perfect homestead, with its 130 year-old farmhouse, pond, barn, and plenty of space.
