The Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum in Weston is a National Historic Landmark and one of the largest hand-cut stone buildings in the country, open now for tours. The former psychiatric hospital runs heritage and history tours by day and ghost tours, flashlight tours, and paranormal investigations after dark. Seasonal events include a haunted house and a fall festival on the Lewis County grounds. Tours run six days a week, closed Mondays.
