Yennicott Oysters restores a family oystering tradition dating back generations on Long Island, cultivating native East Coast oysters in the pristine waters of Little Peconic Bay and Shelter Island Sound on New York's North Fork. One of the most environmentally friendly forms of mariculture — no feeding, medications, or chemicals — the farm also rolls its restored 1973 VW bus raw bar to weddings and beach soirees and teaches shucking classes at KK's Farm in Southold.
