Norton Brothers Fruit Farm operated on Academy Road for more than 200 years, dating to the mid-1700s, before closing after the 2024 season. Local reporting in 2025 pointed to a possible sale or new agreement to keep part of the farm going, though its current status is unconfirmed.

New Hartford

Barden Farm is located in New Hartford, in Connecticut's Farmington River valley.
