Adamson Farms has worked this ground north of Shelley since 1892 — seven generations deep — and switched from a roadside stand to full u-pick in 2019. Rows run potatoes, carrots, beets, sweet corn, zucchini, squash, pumpkins, tomatoes, and a full run of greens from July through November. The farm also sells seed, hay, and straw, and welcomes school groups for field trips during the season.

John and Deby Infanger run New Sweden Farms with a wide circle of family in western Idaho Falls, a mile west of the Sunnyside exit. Two corn mazes, a cow train ride, a bounce pillow, and a corn kernel pit fill out the fall grounds alongside the pumpkin patch and sweet shop. The season runs mid-September through late October, open evenings Tuesday through Friday and midday through evening on Saturdays.
