About This Farm

Hundreds of years ago, the land our farm sits on today and much of the land surrounding Lubbock, Texas, looked very different. What was once called "Good Prairie" on a map has become dry and desolate land. But in 2016, Alcove Farms took root on 160-acres with the mission to, "sow, grow and restore." As soon as your boots hit the ground on the farm, you will be greeted by our 3,000+ free range, mobile-pastured hens enjoying the West Texas sun alongside our cattle. Our farm is the first of its kin
