About This Farm
Barn Owl Bakery grows its own heritage and landrace grains on Lopez Island, then mills them and bakes organic, naturally leavened bread by hand in a wood-fired oven. The bakery and farmstand share the historic Grayling Gallery on Grayling Lane, open Thursday through Saturday. Their loaves stock Blossom Grocery, the Southend General Store, and the San Juan and Orcas co-ops year-round, with a fuller spread of bread and pastries at the Lopez Island Farmers Market in summer.
