Bishop's Orchards' Northford fields, on Middletown Avenue, are where the pick-your-own happens — strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, peaches, pears, apples, and pumpkins across the season. Apple picking runs weekends, plus Columbus Day, from mid-September through late October, and pickers pay for their bag before heading into the rows. Varieties like Honeycrisp and Granny Smith are sold at the market instead, not offered for picking.
