The Black Hills Farmers Market is the largest in South Dakota, running Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May through October at Market Park, 245 E Omaha St in Rapid City, with a Wednesday market added July through October and a smaller indoor winter market. More than 50 vendors sell produce, mushrooms, meat, eggs, honey, baked goods, and crafts. It has operated since 1989 and doubles SNAP dollars up to $20 a day.
