Black Hills Bulk Foods

Hot Springs, SD

Black Hills Bulk Foods delivers fresh produce, meat, and natural and organic groceries to rural Black Hills towns, sourcing locally where it can. David and Merissa Alink started it in 2021, running order windows Monday through Wednesday once or twice a month with delivery the following week to Rapid City, Spearfish, Hot Springs, Custer, and Piedmont. They also host a pop-up market at their Hot Springs facility for anyone who'd rather pick up meat and produce in person.

Black Hills Farmers Market

The Black Hills Farmers Market is the largest in South Dakota, running Saturdays 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. May through October at Market Park, 245 E Omaha St in Rapid City, with a Wednesday market added July through October and a smaller indoor winter market. About 15 vendors rotate weekly, including Hanisch Farms produce and Dakota Mushrooms & Microgreens, plus eggs, honey, meat, jams, baked goods, flowers, coffee and prepared food. Parking is free and plentiful. Many vendors take SNAP, EBT, WIC and FMNP.
