Bluebird Grain Farms grows and mills certified organic ancient grains: emmer farro, einkorn, dark northern rye, and heritage wheat, on its farm in the Methow Valley near Winthrop. Sam and Brooke Lucy run the operation from seed to freshly milled flour, shipping whole grains and flour direct. Their Emmer Farro is a longtime favorite of Northwest chefs, and their whole-grain blends won a 2020 NEXTY award for best new organic food. Orders ship from 19611 Highway 20.
