About This Farm
C4 Farms raises forage-fed beef on about 1,000 acres of pasture around Tierra Amarilla in the Chama Valley of north-central New Mexico. Tommy and Jessica Casados started the direct-to-consumer operation in 2013; Tommy is fourth generation on the family land, and the brand comes from the C4 cattle brand. In 2021 they opened an on-farm USDA-inspected slaughter and processing facility, and they sell cuts under the Zia Beef label using rotational grazing.
