About This Farm
Cascade Milling grows several thousand acres of organic wheat near the Columbia River in central Washington and mills it into organic flour, baking mixes, and whole grains at its plant in Royal City. The family-run, vertically integrated operation started in 2015 and now turns out several million pounds of flour a year, drawing on the volcanic soils and glacier-fed river water of the Columbia Basin. A recent expansion added a building, a new retail packaging line, and private-label runs.
