About This Farm

In 2003, Karen and Michael Catapano, a nurse and doctor, respectively, bought a small goat farm in Mattituck. During their second year as goat farmers, they entered the American Cheese Society Annual National Competition and came in first place. Popularity ensued, and in 2005, they moved to the current farm’s location in Peconic, increasing their herd to about 100.
