Davis Farms has grown pumpkins commercially in Curry County since the family started farming near Clovis in 1917. In 2009 the third generation, Kenneth and Jacqueline Davis, opened a public pumpkin patch with a corn maze, hay rides, a pile they call Pumpkin Mountain, and retail pumpkin sales. Recent signs point to the patch winding down, so anyone planning a fall visit should confirm it's open before driving out.
