Highland Dairy
About This Farm
Highland Dairy operated near Clovis in eastern New Mexico from 1992, milking a Holstein herd that once topped 1,800 cows. In 2018 the state suspended its Grade A permit after PFAS from nearby Cannon Air Force Base contaminated the groundwater the cows drank, tainting their milk above federal safety limits. Unable to sell, the dairy euthanized its entire herd of 3,665 cattle. The site now appears in state environmental records rather than active as a milk producer.
