El Bosque Garlic Farm

About This Farm

El Bosque Garlic Farm has grown garlic along the Rio Embudo in Dixon since the early 1970s, when Stanley and Rose Mary Crawford settled there and built their house. The farm sells hardneck varieties like Russian Red and Siberian — big, pungent, easy-peeling cloves — plus shallots and other produce from June into December. Stanley's years in the fields became his 1992 book, A Garlic Testament. Find the garlic at the Santa Fe Farmers' Market or at the farm by appointment.
