Five Oaks Farm raises Santa Gertrudis and crossbred beef on pasture in Shelbyville, using rotational grazing and low-stress handling. Jim and Tammy Graves started the family farm in 1993, and its beef store at 819 Gant Road sells individual cuts plus, at times, whole, half, and quarter shares. The farm belongs to Santa Gertrudis Breeders International and the Tennessee Cattlemen's Association.
