The 501(c)(3) also grows food on its own urban farm at the Hillside Hub, composts food waste, and pays teens through project-based internships in food justice work. It operates from 1090 S Institute St and runs more like a community food hub than a traditional vendor market — the shelves change with whatever gets rescued that week.
