Grassroots Ranch raises 100% grass-fed beef, pecan-grove pork, and pastured chicken on native tallgrass prairie near Porter. The Rose family moves cattle to fresh grass daily and rotates roughly 200 heritage hogs and cows, 10,000 meat birds, and 800 laying hens across the land. The pigs forage the pecan grove for nuts and mushrooms. They ship nationwide and sell through their online store, and have planned a Cherry Street larder in Tulsa.
