Helvetia Christmas Tree and Lavender Farm opens its lavender fields the first two weekends of July, when visitors cut their own bundles for $8 with baskets and scissors provided, or buy pre-cut bunches for $12. Festival weekends bring 30-plus artisan vendors, food, and live music, plus garden tours and distilled lavender oil for sale. The farm sits on NW Bishop Road northwest of Hillsboro. Admission proceeds go to Samaritan Ministries.
