Despite the name, Huffman Berry Farm is a row-crop operation first: this fifth-generation Tippecanoe County family farm grows tomatoes, jalapeño peppers, and banana peppers under contract with Red Gold, the Elwood, Indiana tomato processor, alongside grain and seasonal strawberries. The Huffmans sold their hog operation in 2009 and shifted into vegetable production. Strawberries are the seasonal draw for visitors.
