New Roots Organics has delivered weekly bins of organic fruit and vegetables to Seattle homes since 1999, run out of a warehouse between Ballard and Fremont at 4544 Leary Way NW. Founder Carolyn Boyle still owns the operation, sourcing from local growers and letting customers customize each order. Add-ons include pastured eggs, honey, nuts, and kombucha, and every delivery arrives with a recipe sheet noting which items were grown locally.
