Orono Farmers' Market sets up on the University of Maine's Steam Plant lot on College Avenue and doesn't stop for winter — Saturdays run 8 a.m. to noon year-round, with Tuesday hours added from mid-May through mid-October. More than 30 vendors sell produce, eggs, beef, pork, seafood, milk, cheese, cut flowers, maple products, and baked goods, rain or shine. The market accepts SUN Bucks for income-eligible Maine families.
