About This Farm

In the spring of 2002, with help from the Food Trust, Liz and Bill Andersen started the Phoenixville Farmers' Market to revitalize the downtown and provide access to fresh local food. It was originally in the parking lot at the corner of Bridge and Main Streets, and featured just four farms: Charlestown Farm, Hoagland Farms, Quarryville Orchard and Kimberton Hills Bakery. ​ With the support of PAEDCO, the Market moved to the Foundry parking lot on Main Street in 2003.
