Retreat Farm is a nonprofit spread across 500 conserved acres of forest, farmland, and trails on the edge of Brattleboro. The Farm Market sells local food six days a week, and the Open Barn lets families meet farm animals Friday through Sunday into Labor Day. Trails stay open dawn to dusk, and the calendar fills with live music, workshops, and the Thirsty Goat bar. The land sits on traditional Abenaki homelands.
