The Pumpkin Barn opens for the fall season from the third Friday in September through October 31, running corn and hay mazes on Alan Shirley's farm south of Obion. Families come for the exotic-animal petting zoo, weekend pony rides, and farm and school tours. The barn sells pumpkins, apples, sweet potatoes, cornstalks, mums, and homemade soaps and oils, with a gift shop stocked for fall. Group tours are set up for churches and schools.
