About This Farm
The Grain Shed is a worker- and farmer-owned cooperative bakery and brewery in Spokane's South Perry neighborhood. They stone-mill flour from grain grown within 100 miles in the Palouse, then bake naturally leavened bread in a wood-fired oven and brew beer from the same regional grain. The co-op started in 2018 as a partnership with Palouse Heritage, which raises landrace and ancient grains, and has since expanded toward a full mill and bakeshop in nearby Liberty Lake.
