Built in 2008 on donated land, the Market Place on Broadway is a large covered pavilion in historic downtown Ardmore that shelters local growers from the weather. It runs April through December, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to noon. Tables carry Oklahoma-grown vegetables, fruits, nuts, and herbs, plus baked goods, cut flowers, soaps, and lotions. Most vendors take cards and nutrition benefits.
